A brutally exhausting watch that starts out as awkward and uncomfortable and gradually becomes dreadful and overwhelming over time. I both had zero fun watching the movie and was also hyper-engaged the entire time.
It is very likely the movie would've burst into flames without a career best performance from Jonathon Majors, but his portrayal of Cillian Maddox is damn near perfection. It's a shame his offscreen persona is a mess and seems to probably be a pretty bad dude…
