A sense of a world that's somehow wrong creeps in from the start of the film - or rather, it swoops on the distorting wide lens and dizzying angles following, then overtaking a tiny car against this empty, somehow in vitro landscape, all to the sound of that demented electronica cover of Dies Irae and titles out of a Z-grade blue movie.
