Captain America: Brave New World 2025
Precise Rating: 7/10
Having read the original Red Hulk storyline when it came out in 2008, this was quite fulfilling for my inner child.
I’m surprised to see people calling this mid, I thought it was one of the more entertaining MCU films. While the dialogue is not the most complex, everything going on with the plot itself was fairly intricate with some fairly based topics of CIA blacksites, MK Ultra type mind control. Harrison Ford is a perfect recast for Ross, his performance was genuinely touching.
EDIT: let me just say Carl Lumbly’s portrayal of Isaiah Bradley was soul crushing. Amazing stuff.Translated from by

Joker: Folie à Deux 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Quite an interesting one, it took me overnight to gather my thoughts about this film.
Let’s get this out of the way first: the first Joker film, despite what any midwit says, is phenomenal, one of the greatest lessons in human empathy I’ve ever experienced, and is an indictment of character of the very people who hate on the film.
That being said, Joker 2 (I refuse to say the stupid French title) is a very mixed bag, ruined entirely…

The Passion of the Christ 2004
A true masterpiece. Mel crafted the greatest religious film, and arguably the best historical film, ever made. The way he synthesizes all four Gospels into a single narrative is masterful.
The weight of every man’s sin hangs heavy.
