This film is certainly a piece of eyecandy! The visuals of Arakkis were absolutely stunning and the costume design of all Great Houses and Fremen were truly remarkable. At times however, the plot can be confusing, but let’s view that as “worth a second watch”. Overall, the main story was very well written and the characters were as compelling as in the books. I only wish they hadn’t used Zendeya as clickbait and had given the film a more closed ending. However, this might become less frustrating as part two becomes available…

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2023
This film has left me with the feeling of falling in love for the first time again. The pacing was so incredibly smooth and so was the plot. The whole experience never felt as though interrupted and truly evoked a sense of pure satisfaction. Also, I was deeply impressed by the chemistry between Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler.
