I feel like the cinematography was a bit choppy and the clips during time change were really sudden and didn’t have a good flow? Very cut and dry sometimes BUT I like the emphasis Coppola played on the irl appearances and predatory behavior of the relationship. Small snippets of women’s desire paralleled with montages of makeover scenes and fantastical men achievements

Extremely visually stunning movie, stunning acting, but I don’t understand what the movie is trying to say? It kinda skims the very surface of multiple tipping points but never fully falling into it. Not much about the composing or his music, we don’t fully understand the dynamic between the family, we don’t get but a glimpse into his affairs, and I feel the time jumps create a bit of a lag in Larry and Felicia’s relationship. I want it to be pushed 100% in one direction and tell us exactly what it wants.
