It's difficult to come to terms with autism and hyper-sensitivity later in life.
    The denormalization of social structures.
The isolation that comes when the things that affect you don't affect others the same way.

It's also a world of medicalization; where the only way to talk about it is in the language of sickness.

Then the attempt at building community outside of these structures.
A community that cares about each other's reactions.

    The Orgasm is More Money

Let me start with an abridged quote from David Graeber’s book “Debt: The First 5000 Years”

I am biased. I was in a really bad mood today and I wanted something to hate watch. So thanks for that Noah. This film sucked ass and I refuse to elaborate on it.

Enrapturing. The pipes, the wind, the crying, the confusion, birth, frustration, song, lust, poor sleep, so much space and no room. Being on stage, the ephemeral power of electric lighting.

It doesn't reinvent the wheel of sci-fi satires but it's an enjoyable movie that highlights interpersonal relationships with the backdrop of a christo-fascist regime. It's an accessible, funny, and bright story that leaves the audience feeling good. Sometimes we need the righteous to win.

This heist-romance-scifi-horror-comedy is middle of the road all the way through. It felt focus-grouped to hell; it couldn't pick a lane and stay in it. The cinematography was uninspired even if it looked good.
Most interesting piece of this is how the writing fails to critique incel behavior because it continues to center mens' emotions and refuses real autonomy to victims.
