I had a really good day today, and then I decided to watch this movie and I ruined it. I didn’t know how a coffee table could ruin someone’s life, and then I watched this and found out so quickly how. Incredibly gut wrenching watch, but also so good.

Snow White 2025
The dwarves are insanely terrifying. Like super uncomfortably scary. I will be be having nightmares featuring them. Gal Gadot is as awful as you can imagine she would be. Rachel Zegler is really the saving grace of the film and the songs are fun. Some originals and some old ones too. I however cannot hear “Whistle While You Work” without thinking of the rap song. Another highlight of this film is the raspiness of the Magic Mirror’s voice it just feels like it was nailed on every level. This movie isn’t good, but it’s also not the worst live action Disney movie ever made.

This film releasing in 1992 was incredibly different from the slashers that released before and during that time. This movie kept me locked in for the 1.5hr runtime it has, and at no point did it feel slow. There’s some questionable acting as the film starts out, but this doesn’t hinder the overall movie. Helen’s overall infatuation with finding The Candyman is what leads towards her demise; just like the 2021 film…
