Gosh this movie gets me every time. The weirdness of it, the creep factor, and the horror are all done really well. This is definitely my number one horror film that I have watched. The moment shit started happening, it never stopped. The whole family breaking apart, Joan meddling into everything, and the crazy ending is insane. Some of the parts always get me and its crazy. The cinematography is absolutely crazy and everything makes it hard to find a flaw in this. The score is also really good and definitely keeps the tension going. Everything about this is so good.

This was such an adorable movie and a great watch. The only thing that confuses me throughout the movie is the fact that NO ONE questions why a fish turned into a human child. It’s a cute movie with a really great story and makes The Little Mermaid look like a rip-off. The animation in this movie was both beautiful and insane at the same time. The two kids together is cute as hell and the seniors are hilarious. I love Studio Ghibli movies so much and I can’t wait to watch all the ones I haven't seen. BANGER!
