  Genuinely fun and frivolous and enjoyable to watch! With some light subtext of debt, wage slavery, class war, addiction, fatphobia, and business ownership as capitalism’s favorite pharmakon, which were fun to try to think about too 🍫______🍫

  Really loved every part of this movie, so so fun. I deeply related to the decision to apply for law school in response to heartbreak. Loved all the looks and set design. I also really liked the cinematography of the moment in the elevator Vivian accuses Elle of sleeping with the professor to advance her career. Some of the jokes didn’t age that well but that didn’t bother me that much. I was smiling and happy the whole way though, great film.
