  Finally watched this Stuart Gordon directed, Brian Yuzna produced Lovecraft retelling, a formula that never seems to fail me, especially when you throw names like Buechler and Combs and Crampton into the mix.   This one came highly recommended and it delivered. You’re already off to a good start when your protagonist is a very handsome dog. This is Thor, a very protective and powerful German Shepherd.   This is a movie about a voodoo guy called the Headhunter who is running around really fast and chopping off people’s heads with his bad ass sword! And not just here and there, but like every single day he chops off a head. And everyone’s trying to catch him but they can’t because he’s so fast and crazy. He can cut people’s heads off in the middle of a busy club and nobody sees him because this motherfucker is fast and mega-infused with voodoo. Watch this if you like seeing a lot of decapitated heads.
