Bryan Rathbun Pro

Roger Ebert once said “No good movie is too long and no bad movie is short enough.”
That’s not true. Most movies are too long.

I was at first intrigued by the alternate history and the visual effects of the movie but then soon realized, as this movie just slogged along, that it’s actually pretty boring with no real heart behind it.
I struggled to stay awake during the final act.

A sharp, sleek, and stylish espionage thriller with great leads and a solid supporting cast. Kinda predicted the twist about halfway through the movie but still fun and definitely worth a watch.

I was hoping to like this movie more than I did but it’s fine. Nothing spectacular, just a lackluster addition to the MCU. I think Sam’s Captain America deserves better than a pseudo Incredible Hulk sequel 17 years later.
I think like 90% of the VFX budget was spent on the Red Hulk, which did look great, but other parts were ROUGH.
Also Giancarlo Esposito deserves better than some throwaway secondary villain. I wonder if he had a bigger role before the rewrites and reshoots.

This is only the 3rd Tarintino Movie I’ve seen but it is a great movie. Leo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt are amazing and are so great together. The movie was kind a long but it wasn’t slow or anything, it just kept going. Beautiful love letter to Old Time Hollywood.
