This is the first film I had seen by David O’Russel. What drew me originally to the film was not it’s star studded cast, but it’s fictionalized take on a real life attempt on the U.S. government. Taking place during the 1930’s plot to overthrow FDR, it dramatizes an event rarely seen in media, let alone public thought.
It captures the story of 3 characters unfolding the plot through somewhat weird and janky pacing, with time jumps not clearly defined.…
