  weirdly cramped set space and blocking for the choreography. feel like they must have rehearsed this in another more open space and then had to make adjustments on the day of shooting when the dimensions turned out to be off, because a lot of these movements have that sort of slight stiffness to my eyes. like even the way pedro walks out of the cafe feels like he's going "ah crap this mark is so close to me and i gotta stretch this tracking shot out for how long?" the guy remains real good at stopping and gazing longingly into a distance though lol

  the most fun movie-going experience you could imagine. it’s incredibly funny, features really magnetic performances, and puts together what has to be my favorite training montage in any film. there’s a line of “dialogue” right before the intermission which is the hardest i can remember laughing at a movie. what a joy! what an experience!
