I smoked a fat spliff with GRABBA before I watched this movie and i almost threw up. Some scenes genuinely made me lightheaded lol. Gory and actually scary. Such a good time.

THIS MOVIE IS INSANEEEEE. Think stranger things but darker. This movie was utterly disturbing and unpredictable. And THE ACTING!!!! These children are amazinggggggggggg. And I love the ending :-)

Watched this movie for the first time a few days ago and FUCK this movie was incredible. It completely did it for me. This movie beautifully blurs the line between what’s real and what isn’t leaving the viewer feeling confused and asking the same questions as the character. This film also has amazing rewatch value, you notice new details and are able to absorb the film from a new perspective. This film was unique and tackles themes of mental health, cults and religion in a way I’ve never seen done. And the ending! Wild.

Watched this movie for the first time years ago and have loved it ever since. I enjoy every rewatch. First, the cinematography and colour grading. I’ve never seen a bleaker, greyer movie than this and it’s perfect. Then, the monster, the Babadook himself, is a simple drawing from a children’s book. This depiction of a monster is everythingggggggg. It’s exactly what I imagined the monster under my bed or in the closet to look like. This movie transports me back…
