  For years I’ve never been fond of this movie. But what the hell was past me thinking? A prime example that your opinion can change over time.

  Everyone is on top form. Carey and Winslet nailing every part of their roles. The complexities and nuance of relationships is captured extremely well.

  The reveal of Dunst’s story had my jaw on the floor. I’ve never related to a David Cross character more. 

  I miss Jim Carey in dramatic roles like this.

  Several years later Brosnan still can’t sing. Lay All Your Love on Me remains one of the best and changed lives.

  Great cast performances notably Pattison and Ackie for me. Loses steam about half way through and feels like a lot. Nevertheless it is a lot of fun.
