Anora 2024
I think this film does a great job displaying the sex work industry and sex workers vs men with dispostional wealth. I love how Igor initially seemed to be the worst of them all, but throughout you see he’s the only one who actually sees her and cares about what she’s about to go through, without her even knowing what’s about to happen. I appreciated the uncomfortable not happy ending. The ambiguity of what that last scene meant for not only Anora, but for those in less fortunate positions hoping to get out of a bad environment

Decent film, nothing special I feel. Aubrey was way too advertised for having like 10 min of screen time. I think they could’ve added her into more of the craziness
