The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim 2024
Fun and tense. I enjoyed the animation and story, but felt it dragged on a bit in the second half. I wish it did better to make more of these untold story movies from Middle Earth.

The Dark Tower 2017
Felt alot like part of a movie instead of a whole one in itself. All the best stuff took place on kid-world and all the final act stuff on regular earth was kinda lame. The gunfights and reload action scenes were great, but I wish there was more gunslinger lore for people unfamiliar with the books and all. For being called the dark tower, we only saw it 3 times and one of those it was a stick in the ground

I think this has to be my favorite Wes Anderson. It has a cozy cold feel to it I don’t often find with other films. Aside from how the whole thing looks, it’s the cast that really brings the whole movie to life. I wouldn’t say they all have great chemistry, but it’s more along the line that they just compliment each other very well as weird people interacting in a weird manner.
