A good movie, nothing to write home about. The plot is relatively straightforward, characters are good. The movie is a little wonky with how the conflict begins but it eventually finds its footing. It’s also very slow moving which I didn’t expect. The animation is choppy at times and stunning at others. The standout for me was King Helm Hammerhand who while kind of a dick ended up being quite a badass. It’s definitely a worthy installation of the LOTR…

It’s hard to know where to begin with this one. I had to wait a night to digest everything I saw because its a lot. As a horror movie, it’s one of the best I’ve ever seen. The greatest movie I have ever witnessed on the big screen. It might be my favorite movie of all time it’s certainly in my top 3. There is not a single thing wrong with this movie if anything they went too hard in the opposite direction. The only words/phrases that can be used to describe it is a goddamn spectacle in every sense of the word and a religious experience. This shit was life changing and I won’t be able to stop thinking about it for weeks maybe months. A generational masterpiece.

Not really sure where to begin, everything about this movie was phenomenal. Easily one of Ridley Scott’s best movies, probably one of the best movies in cinema. Russell Crowe was absolutely brilliant as was Joaquin Pheonix who played probably one of the best, most pathetic and despicable villains I’ve seen in a while. While Russell was an incredible protagonist, Joaquin Phoenix stole the show in many ways by making Commodus such a convincing, tragic character while also making him so…
