The Apprentice is a decent film with some great performances, especially from Jeremy Strong and Sebastian Stan, and the way film looks at certain times really makes you feel like your watching a movie on film from the 1980’s. Where this movie falls flat is its cliches. Too often the script is very predictable, and the film does not have enough suspense to really make me care too much about the characters. However, I will add that Jeremy Strong gives a tremendous performance that deserves a lot of praise.
