  Great anti-boss movie. A lot has been made of the Trump elements in Ruffalo’s character, but it reads to me like just some of the mix. Easy to imagine bosses I’ve worked for liking this while being too dense to realize it’s about people like them.

  Continues the Matrix tradition of being thematically rich but textually dumb, except much less interesting looking this time.

  Maybe I’m being too literal (I usually am), but a scene like the one where the film specifically calls out “Warner Brothers” for insisting on a Matrix 4 is the proof that there’s no actual cutting satire here, the same way that The Simpsons endlessly poking fun at “Fox” was obviously toothless the instant you thought about Fox okaying each and every one of those jokes.
