  So visually interesting and odd and almost liminal. Did it remind me of Spring Breakers? A little bit. Am I conflicted and confused on how I feel about this film? Absolutely. Did it completely nail the execution? Maybe not, but nevertheless….this is definitely a sign for me to watch Anora and The Florida Project and see what else Sean Baker creates 🍩

  Went in with mid expectations and was completely blown away….the absolute definition of a spectacle. Truly phenomenal casting, set design, costumes, and just sheer production value. I was in tears for the entirety of defying gravity. My 13 year old self who’s first ever Broadway show in NYC was Wicked is grinning from ear to ear—this movie is a testament to how enthralling and awe-inspiring theatre can be 💚
