  Oh nicole kidman the ally that you are… the theater was entirely girls and gays which felt so fitting! Personally loved this movie & the score was everything to me. Was there an opportunity for them to go maybe a bit deeper on some of the plot points??? Sure… but I don’t think it detracted from the main themes: control, sex, and power

  And just like that, I’m here to debut my first letterboxd diary entry - some might call this conversion therapy. Talk about conversion though with this movie - phew! Demi Moore absolutely slayed this role and even though by the end it started to get a little campy and out there - there was a lot of intention with that (in my opinion) to amplify the message that in an effort to change to our “ideal” selves, we end up reverting back to an even worse version than we started.
