This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I just watched this for my Cinema class. I need to sit on this a bit more.
Technically, this movie is SO impressive. The fact that it was made in 1941 blows me away. This has some of the best cinematography, editing, etc. I've ever seen.
I was a bit confused at times with the storyline. However, that is probably just me. The ending tied it all together, though.

Sometimes I’m picky with what movies I give five stars to, but when a movie keeps me entertained, laughing, invested, and feeling for the characters, I can’t not give credit where it’s due.
I had a great time through and through. Can’t complain!!! So entertaining. I love you Robert Pattinson. I love the movies.
Saw this at the Virginia Film Fest at a premiere event in the most beautiful theatre. Perfect viewing.
A few thoughts:
A. Lived up to all my expectations
B. I haven't been this entertained by a movie in a long time. It seriously made my heart so happy to be embedded in such a beautiful experience of everyone laughing together at the movies.
C. What a damn funny movie. Funnier than i thought it'd be.
D. Mikey Madison, you killed it.
I'm going to be thinking about this for awhile. The ending, the experience, and everything. I need another rewatch ASAP to solidify my thoughts.
This is S-tier dialogue writing. The fact that this whole movie is just based on conversations and centered around the selection of the pope masterfully builds suspense. S-tier cinematography, too. Every shot was great.
As this movie sits with me, I may give it a 5/5, but for right now, a 4.5 will do.
