  A major step up from the first one. The motion capture/vfx was absolutely incredible. Hard to believe it’s from 2014. Some amazing action scenes. Overall, really solid. Caesar is the absolute best and has so much aura. Andy Serkis does a phenomenal job playing him. Excited to finish this trilogy.

  I’m speechless. This may be the greatest film ever made. It’s a masterpiece. Everything I could say about it has already been said. My mind is just blown. I can’t get over how good it is. And who cares if this is in everybody’s top 4 on Letterboxd? It deserves it. When you create something as monumental and as perfect as 2001: A Space Odyssey, then it deserves all the attention it gets. I have to admit I’ve been prolonging myself to watch this film, thinking it would be boring and overrated. It’s safe to say I feel pretty stupid now.
