Marriage Story 2019
Such a unique story. We've got two protagonists and somehow I'm not rooting for either of them.
Solid movie...didn't blow me away. I enjoyed the long takes where the acting was allowed to develop. I enjoyed the long scenes when we got to sit with these characters (you're going to sing every verse of this song? I love it). The writing was excellent, the dialogue natural.
These actors are exceptional but there were moments that felt so stiff and unnatural. The beginning of the "big fight" sounded more like a table read. Not a fan of the soundtrack.
