At the core of this film is a story about friendship and what happens to an abused kid that isn't shown any empathy. I couldn't help but feel incredibly frustrated with Matt in particular who knew Andrew was abused and hurting and instead of showing him compassion was extremely quick to scold him unlike who Steve who always tried to help and hear him out.
