All Hallows' Eve: Trickster 2023
I will gladly be the first review on this page as I need to be known that not only was a third All Hallows Eve film totally unexpected this Halloween, but it was even less expected that I would enjoy the movie as much as I did… don’t let it’s tubi launch or it’s seemingly out of thin air release deter you from checking this one out! I had a blast watching this film and it has become my favorite of all three of the All Hallows Eve films! It’s whacky, it’s gruesome, it’s insane, it’s everything you expect from one of these movies!

My Bloody Valentine 1981
Reckless/obnoxious characters, a guy who warns everybody and is is assumed to be crazy, subplots that are difficult to care about, and of course a badass killer who dishes out some great kills. All of these things make My Bloody Valentine a pretty basic run of the mill 80s slasher film but that is A ok in my book because let's be real, we are all here to see the killer do what he does best and the film knows it!

Better Watch Out 2016
Better Watch Out was a film that caught me totally by surprise. What started out as your basic run of the mill home invasion film, quickly goes off the rails and turns into what can almost be described as a slasher film. The point is that this film knew how to switch it up, be unique, and also kept me on my toes throughout as each twist was unexpected and caught me off guard! I was not expecting to love…
