I try to approach all films with a posture of wonder that storytelling like this can exist. This movie is beautiful. Marlee Matlin delivers in the way I've come to expect: she's just a sublime actor. The revelations to me were in the eponymous lead Emilia Jones and in the actor who played her father Troy Kotsur. I suppose as the father of a teenage girl, I'll forever be drawn to the father-daughter relationship. Their mutual care for one another…
