Hadn’t seen this since the 90s. I mainly remembered the kids trying to see a naked woman. Great suburban locale. Melanie Griffith befriends the kids who pay her to strip for them. She hides out in suburbs while evading her pimp.

Little Giants 1994
I watched this many times when it was new. Rick Moranis and the town’s underdog kids form their own peewee football team to compete against the team assembled by his Heisman winning brother. Not much to it. Typical 90s kid movie gags, car “chases”, etc. Set in a beautiful midwestern town. Moranis’ daughter struggles between playing football vs. being a cheerleader to attract the attention of a teammate. Sibling rivalry between Moranis and Ed O’Neil. Brief cameos by John Madden, Emmitt Smith, etc.

First time seeing this. Sets and clothes of its time are fun to see in 2022. Nice and slow cinematography with no effects. A for the story. A+ for the acting. Feels like most newer movies don’t let good acting shine like this one. Great cast. This poster portrays this like a rom-com, but it’s actually more gritty and deep, reminiscent of more indie-style films.
