Cinematography and score carry this film for me.
Travis as a character felt a little flat/flimsy.
I know ambiguous endings are “cool”, but this one just didn’t make much sense - especially if taken at face value. Idk it was good, but not a masterpiece

It’s hard to find any flaws with this film. To me, the most impressive thing about CoG is the ability to lay out so many different story lines with such clarity. AND they all fit into the larger picture, perfectly… brilliant.
CoG is shocking, intense, vulgar, cathartic and basically perfect.

Well that was an interesting watch bruthas!
Everything about this film is very ahead of it’s time. Kubrick was one of a kind. It’s hard to believe this was all done in 1971/2. As far as the story being told, it’s weird and vile and at times, entertaining. One i appreciated seeing and probably wont ever watch again.
