The Green Knight 2021
I get why it’s challenging to engage with. For me, it was a fully resized vision and the visual and audio textures are engrossing, and maybe the most faithful storytelling possible in this vein of adaptation.

Annihilation 2018
This movie is a sedated, dream-like experience. It doesn't quite deliver on the narrative expectations that it seems to be establishing, but there is certainly something about it that sticks with you. There are 2 or 3 startling scares, but it's more of a contemplation than a thriller.
Like a mix between Arrival and The Tree of Life.
Overall, it set me up to want something different and I walked out of the theater slightly disappointed, but there is a lot to explore about what it is on its own terms.

The Disaster Artist 2017
A truly one of a kind film experience. Franco's performance startles you at first, but it's a testament to the character and the film that I settled into not only accepting it but relishing it. Overall, it walks the line between heartfelt and ridiculous and you certainly won't ever see anything like it.
