Fun little movie that does what Disney does best, communicate a pretty obvious moral message through contemporary pop music (this time fully entrenched in Lin Manuel Miranda's songwriting). The moral message on the docket this time is forgiveness and generational trauma. The music of the film is largely repetitive and withstand able to the viewers tastes, for me personally I was clocked out for 75% of the songs. Great performance from Kristen Stewart in a deeply anxious film. The viewer is boxed into Diana's experience amongst the Royal family for the two hour runtime that gave me the same heart palpitations a good horror movie would. The costume work and set design is on a different level. When put next to there real life counterparts ever dress in the film is nearly identical to what Diana actually wore. Overall a wonderful experience.

Very interesting film that requires more than one viewing. Dialogue is wonderfully written and the entire cast was engaging and added to the film. The concept, while a spoiler to reveal, is thought provoking and fun to untangle. The horror elements were muted but not bad, more cosmic or existential than your usual horror flick. The plot itself can be confusing and hard to follow but that clears up upon secondary and tertiary viewings. Overall an enjoyable film.

Jim Henson's capability of creating the creepiest (and most endearing) puppets and characters, surrounded by an interesting attractive world, is the main draw to this film. Waiting for the next part of the Labyrinth to be explored and the next quirky character to be revealed is incredibly engaging for a casual fun watch.
