The classic Wang Chung music, the raw violence, Willem Dafoe frenching everybody, and the great visuals of LA. All very very good.

A nice little movie that is a real let down, at it goes for realism and it turns out that rescuing a deep divers is kind of boring. I was expecting The Perfect Storm but underwater and instead we get Woody Harrelson sitting down there just waiting or handling cables but he doesn't lead anything, doesn't make decisions, doesn't deep dive, nothing. So it's nice, but don't expect much to happen.

Phoebe Dynevor is pretty great in this globetrotting spy by accident thriller curiously shot in iPhones by director Neil Burger. Very well accomplished, tense and quick, it's a very nice watch.

Jessie Eisenberg does it all here, and really really well. His direction, the dialogue he wrote and his performance as well. Loved his cathartic, painful scene, which I thought was missing from Kieran Culkin's character's arc. He's great, giving us a real person and it's a showy performance but it never goes really big. And I think he needed it, judging by the ending, but I'm guessing that was not Eisenberg's idea for the story.
