  The two stars are for actors who were incredible, but this story is awful. I was in a constant state of rage with this one. Absolutely no revenge was had. Jules gets violently beaten and humiliated by a closeted homophobe and starts a relationship with him… in the name of revenge… but then develops feelings for the abuser… the abuser once again attacks Jules at the end of the film almost killing him… What was the purpose of this? Feel bad for your abuser because he has internalized homophobia? Absolutely grotesque.
