The pacing was strange, as it felt like two movie scripts squished together in certain aspects. Like they wanted to tie a bow on Blofeld and Spectre before really getting to the new villain. I wasn’t expecting Citizen Kane, but this was about 25% dumber than I was expecting. It had a few funny moments and it was still mildly entertaining. The dialogue was rough, I kept saying “people don’t talk like this”.
Also, weird how much distracting CGI there was during fight scenes when the movie has a professional UFC fighter as the main villain.

The Creator 2023
I can’t get over how much of a missed opportunity this film was. This has some of the best science fiction visuals and world building I’ve seen in YEARS. If they had spent more time and care on the story and script, this genuinely could’ve been the next Bladerunner.
If you enjoy eye candy, don’t pass this up.
