  I’ve struggled with binge eating disorder my whole life and spent a year in treatment at 16. We watched this documentary in group therapy as part of our treatment and it was one of the most powerful things I’ve ever seen and had stuck with me ever since. I am now 29 years old and still struggling with this life long illness and watch this every couple years and it still hits me the same way it did the first time. Completely raw, real, unsettling, and beautiful look at the world of eating disorders.

  I can’t help but to wonder if this movie was influenced or inspired by the movie thirteen. There’s parts that are way too similar almost exact to not be. Of course the plot is different but the tone of the movie is very similar. Thirteen is my favorite movie of all time so of course I’m comparing the two and this movie doesn’t compare in my opinion but it was pretty good. Enough to watch all the way through that…
