i got SO distracted every time the music just teetered on the edge of fully replicating the riffs of final fantasy 7's combat themes. there's some full on jenova & let the battles begin chords and it keeps fucking with me!!
why did they bother to get the thingy to find Shaw if Shaw literally showed up everywhere they went

it took me this long to finally sit down and see it, but man, it was worth the wait
going in blind and not really knowing anything bout the original book, it was a thrill to learn about the Atreides, the political struggle that space LSD causes, all very interesting!!
Timothée Chalamet is definitely the weakest part of this movie, his acting skills are very similar to that old wooden door from you grandpa's house
but the score, holy fuck, man
Hans Zimmer was HIGH ON LIFE for this one, definitely the best part of this project, I could listen to it for days
