  Alright well Araki takes a turn in the trilogy and goes in a more nightmarish direction. Carefree and wild, The Doom Generation is an even crazier movie than the first of the trilogy. Some hilarious and unexpected moments, with the same zany and neon aesthetic. I enjoyed this one more than Totally F***ed Up, had more of an intriguing premise with weird motifs throughout the movie, overall making a hellish atmosphere with a nihilistic attitude underneath it all.   I wish there was a thing I could click for being in the middle rather than liking it or not. My first time with Araki and well quite unique. The cinematography, though not I guess super conventionally beautiful, I did enjoy the overall aesthetic. Since well that is what it seems the movie mainly focuses on, less of a genuine plot, and more as trippy experience.   I can’t believe that I said The Brutalist was the worst movie of 2024, don’t get me wrong, I still think it’s terrible, but Nickel Boys is quite possibly the worst movie from the 2020’s.
