Alright well Araki takes a turn in the trilogy and goes in a more nightmarish direction. Carefree and wild, The Doom Generation is an even crazier movie than the first of the trilogy. Some hilarious and unexpected moments, with the same zany and neon aesthetic. Totally F***ed Up 1993
I wish there was a thing I could click for being in the middle rather than liking it or not. My first time with Araki and well quite unique. Quite possibly the worst comic book movie of all time; certainly the worst one made by a major director. First is the overacting. Heath Ledger’s performance was too much and his voice was weird. Every time Joker said something “menacing, dark, or edgy” it just came off as goofy. Also, speaking of weird voices, Batman’s voice? I know he has to disguise it, but he didn’t have to go that far. It sounds like his vocal cords are made of…
