This film is a heartwarming depiction that explores the stages of working through and letting go of trauma. The importance of supportive and selfless friendships is depicted in a way that creates a safe feeling for those observing. The score and cinematography add to the sense of ease that can be felt even when dealing with such an uneasy subject matter.

By the end of the first watch I couldn’t believe what I had experienced. That was so stress inducing but I couldn’t get enough. I love this film and think it was perfectly cast. The cinematography, the way it was shot and the score all came together to create a masterpiece.

Incredible movie, beautiful message, only one criticism.  The business plan is fundamentally flawed due to the life span of a common grey rat being 2 years on average. I don’t think in the time that it took Remy to gain notoriety and then open his own restaurant, would have been long enough for the legacy to be continued after he dies.
