  Ok but seriously, are people pretending to like his films? “But the sex is an allegory for power—“ go take a cold shower, call your mom, and apologize. The only properly absurdist thing about this film was how stacked the cast was.

  I went into this hoping for a unique insight to my favorite singer and her fellow folky-zeitgeist leaders as they tour. What I got was a portrait of the narcissistic Devandra Banhart and his cultish following.
