  This movie was beautiful and really gave me a good perspective on sacrifice. Karen, played by Meryl Streep who is beyond amazing as an actress, shows how to move through life despite the feeling of being alone. Her relationship with Dennis was an important lesson in selfishness. I would expound on that, but I feel I would need to do more thorough reading of the book based on this movie to give an accurate view of his character.
