How was this even more violent and gorey than I was expecting??
Paul can get behind me, he IS a movie star and those that say otherwise are lying to us all. Denzel was a highlight in the film, and Connie Nielsen is mesmerising to watch.
Deducting points because it could have been 30 minutes shorter and I could’ve done with some implied violence instead of straight gore…sorry!
Went in intrigued with 0 expectations and LOVED! Feel like it would be very easy to have singers star in a movie that’s a fictionalised story about them, and have it fall flat…yet this didn’t.
I loved that it was equal parts sincere and silly/absurd <3
Great performances, I never got bored and I’m about to go on a kneecap deep dive.
I found Britt Robinson’s character even more insufferable and pretentious this time. Still pretty enjoyable though.
I initially gave this 3 stars; I found it entertaining but a bit long with odd pacing. HOWEVER, I knew the next day I was in the process of being Baz’d… I simply could not stop thinking about the movie and knew I would be back to watch it in a matter of days. I was right.
About a week on from my second viewing and I am left with no option but to shell out 5 stars.
