  i have to admit, this was one of my most anticipated releases for this year - as i love bobs burgers. this movie did not meet my expectations… the ‘simpsons movie’ left me with a similar level of disappointment but, that’s not to say i didn’t enjoy both of these films. i just love the tv series’ so much that i expected something just as good. i think it’s down to how the format of a tv show isn’t quite the same translated into film and i think they failed to satisfy what you’d expect of a film’s structure.

  this film is a blatantly obvious (almost condescending) metaphor of todays societal culture, a reminder that the rich always win and the poor are fucked lol! this film would’ve attracted a wide demographic especially because of its intriguing a-list cast but who was this for? i understand it’s purpose, people need to take action and care about the worlds end!! but i doubt the stock market bros and corrupt politicians are going to be persuaded by the bland, 1 dimensional…
