  it was ok. Some cool concepts for set pieces - like the acid blood in zero gravity. Dialogue wasn't great. Doesn't come close to the original two in the series in spite of it repurposing many parts. Overall not super memorable, average experience.

  The film is gorgeous. The cinematography, art direction and set design are next level. Aesthetically very inspiring. Great acting performances, especially Willem Dafoe who just has charisma and screen presence by the truckload. Good monster. The story is not exactly riveting though and I had minor issues with the occasionally pompous sound design - this could have been more subtle imo. Over all an entertaining and beautiful film but psychologically not very impactful.

  We went for a movie date at Spegeln, the cutest movie theatre in Malmö, which definitely enhanced the experience for me.

  Whimsical and cozy but neither deep nor soul stirring. l enjoyed the colourful ensemble of characters and autumnal vibe and color palette well enough but "over the garden wall" it is not.
