  Really dug this. Don’t know if I fully love the execution of the Danish actor being a creep, but I really found this quite incredible. Happy to have finally seen Amanda Seyfried in something other than Ted 2, because she really is just amazing. My favorite of 2025 so far for sure. Not sure if I can put into words everything that worked for me but I really just think the movie comes together in a way which just hits incredibly throughout its entirety

  Didn’t love Mark Ruffalo’s character as much as I thought I would, but really enjoyed it nonetheless. Usually would find the creatures disgusting but honestly think the big one being super hairy made it easier to digest

  After every rewatch my belief that this is the best mission increases. Feel like Cruise figured out that if he made almost every scene be (or feel, with the help of Balfe) like an action sequence it would just be an absurd experience, and it really is. Every scene is exciting, the emotional beats hit incredibly (the scenes with Atwell and Cruise on the train are absurd and in prep for the mission also), and it just comes together into…
