  This is less a calculated rating for unauthorised, silent, 1920s German Expressionist horror, and more the result of the firm satisfaction I feel towards the evening as a whole.

  A decidedly creepy sequence of images resurrected (unwisely, I'm sure) by the wonderful Babylon Orchestra Berlin.

  I was beginning to wish Dune would wrap things up two hours into proceedings - not bad considering I'd usually become restless within the first 30 minutes of a given blockbuster.

  Worms haven't looked this destructive since Armageddon and The Voice has come on in leaps and bounds since Will.I.Am left.
