Minari by director Lee Isaac Chung, is a drama that takes us through the story of a Korean family that have recently moved to Kansas. How the problems and obsessions of a father to support his family, begin to show opposite results.
Through contemplative shots, Minari takes us on a path of growth and at the same time, of decay, where we see a farm grow and a couple falling apart. Memorable performances, a good storytelling,
a natural and yet well crafted photography and a great soundtrack, give us a very strong, personal and well constructed film.
