Dune: Part Two 2024
I was kind of reeling from some book deviations for a second, but 24 hours out I’m convinced this franchise will be an iconic art piece of the 21st century.
Like how they made us look at historic art and read shitty poetry in college - they’re just gonna be watching Denis’ fucking Dune in 100 years. And then get to write an essay on the incredible social commentary. Assuming humans can make it that long. How lucky for them, this movie makes me happy to be alive as a mere enjoyer.
