The Royal Tenenbaums 2001
The Royal Tenenbaums is both one of my favorite Wes Anderson films, and one of my favorite roles of Gene Hackman. It has loads of charm and a stellar soundtrack. Both heartfelt and hilarious, it is easily rewatchable and definitely a crowd-pleaser. RIP Buckley though.

Beaches 1988
Beaches strikes the perfect balance of cheesy, endearing, hilarious, and heart-wrenching. It appealed to my womanhood in ways many modern movies have been unable to, and to be honest, any movie that makes me cry like this deserves appreciation. Overall, I thought it was lovely.
