  Philip Seymour Hoffman is the only redeeming factor here. Everything else — including Hanks’ whole deal, Roberts’ accent, Sorkin’s script, the film’s ideology — pretty much bad across the board. Propaganda that droops and drags.

  “How much do clothes cost in the Matrix?” 

  
  Fantastic. I’d describe this as one of the Minor Happy Madison texts (by virtue of Sandler’s absence), but this movie made such a significant impact on me as a teenager. Arguably, it means even more to me as an a adult who smokes weed, works in video games, and wants metal legs.
